Power supply
The A 200 is powered via the BA 151 rechargeable accuplug
which is both cost-saving and environmentally friendly. The
accuplug has an operating time of approx. 10–12 hours with the
volume set to a medium value. The operating time can be
extended by using a second accuplug (available as an accessory).
With a second accuplug, one accuplug can be stored in the L 200
charging unit to ensure that it is fully charged when needed. Since
the accuplug cannot be overcharged, it can remain in the charging
unit even when it has been fully charged.
Putting the receiver into operation
Insert the BA 151 accuplug into compartment in the A 200.
NB.: The BA 151 accuplug must be charged for 24 hours
before first use! Take special note of the instructions on
accuplug operation on page 12 of this manual!
Switching on/off the a 200, adusting the volume
Use the rotary switch located on the bottom of the A 200 to
switch on/off the device and adjust the volume.
The A 200 has a built-in limiter
If the user speaks or if loud and sudden noise occurs, the
amplification is reduced immediately. Unpleasant volume
peaks are thus avoided and the user perceives his own voice as
sounding completely natural. The volume limiter is factory-
adjusted to the optimum setting.
