Pre-polarised condenser modular system
K6
The powering module for all capsules has an on/off switch, with battery test position,
and also a switchable bass cut (high pass) filter. Powered either by an internal 1.5v
battery (AA size, order separately) or by external phantom power, black finish. Order
microphone capsule(s) separately.
K6P
Otherwise similar to the K6, this version is operated by phantom power only.
ME62
This is the K6 system omni-directional capsule. Suitable windshields are MZW64 or
MZW64PRO. Order powering module separately.
ME64
A cardiod response capsule for K6 powering modules. Suitable windshields are
MZW64 or MZW64PRO. Order powering module separately.
ME65
With a mesh pop-filter, the ME65 is the super-cardiod response capsule of the K6
system. The MZW65PRO is a suitable windshield. Order powering module separately.
ME66
The K6 system short gun capsule. Suitable windshields include the MZW66 or
MZW66PRO. Basket windshields or Rycote Softie windshields are also available.
Order powering module separately.
ME67
Long gun capsule for K6 system. Suitable windshield MZW67PRO. Rycote Softies
also available. Order accessory kit and powering module separately.
MKE2-60-Gold-C
High quality sub-miniature tie-clip microphone for use with K6 system, diameter
4.8mm, weight only 1g. “Umbrella” diaphragm protects the capsule from moisture
and sweat. Delivered with two caps which slightly modify frequency response, for
matching to individual voices. Colour black.
Condenser microphones
MKH20
Studio quality omnidirectional for digital recording. With linear response down to
25Hz, it is excellent for neutral recordings within the direct sound field. Diffuse field
switch is fitted. 10dB switchable pad. 48 volt phantom powered. Suitable windshield
MZW41.
MKH30
Studio quality figure-of-eight response for digital recording. 10dB switchable pad.
Switchable bass roll-off filter. Ideal M-S stereo microphone, used with MKH40 and
MZD30 clip. 48 volt phantom powered. Suitable windshield MZW41.
MKH40
Studio quality cardioid for digital recording. Switchable 10dB output level cut to
prevent overmodulation with very high sound pressure levels. Switchable bass roll-off
filter. 48 volt phantom powered. Suitable windshield MZW41.
MKH50
Studio quality hyper-cardioid for digital recording. Other specifications as MKH40.
MKH60 and MKH70
Supercardioid rifle mics, extremely low inherent noise and high sensitivity. Switchable
bass roll-off filter, HF presence, and 10dB output level cut. 48 volt phantom powered.
MKH60 is 280mm long, MKH70 is 410mm long. Basket windshields MZW60-1 and
MZW70-1, plus “hairy” covers MZH60-1 and MZH70-1. MZS20-1 shockmount/pistol
grip.
MKH416P48U-3 and MKH416TU-3
Rifle mic designed as a combination of pressure gradient and interference micro-
phones. Consequently this has a supercardioid pick up pattern for low and medium
frequencies, but lobar pattern at frequencies above 2kHz. Various accessories, see
Sennheiser brochure available on request. P48U-3 version is 48 volt phantom
powered, TU-3 version is AB(T) powered.
MKH418S
M-S stereo shotgun mic, with supercardioid “M” and figure-of-eight “S” elements.
Overall length 280mm diameter 19mm. Frequency response: 40-20000Hz, Max SPL
130dB. 48 +/-4 V phantom powered, XLR5 connector.
MKH800
Extended frequency response version of MKH80 for high sample-rate digital record-
ings. Frequency response: 30-50000Hz.

Pre-polarised Condenser Microphones
MKE44
Pre-polarised electret stereo microphone with two cardioid capsules set at 90
degrees for X-Y stereo applications. Powered by single AA battery or 12-48V
phantom power. Supplied in a foam-lined case, complete with velour windshield and
adapter lead; XLR 5-pin to two 3-pin XLRs. Frequency response: 40-20000Hz.
