Press[MIX2ch]during play.
Tocancel,press [MIX 2ch]again.
1 Press [DD PRO LOGIC].
2 Play a Dolby Surround source.
To cancel
Press[DD PRO LOGIC].
Turn Dolby Pro Logic off when playing a DVD recorded with Dolby
Digital or DTS. The surround effects will not be reproduced correctly
if this is left on.
Speaker level adjustments ]
If the level of the speakers appears to be different while listening to a
source, adjust the level of the speakers to the same apparent level.
Preparation
DOLBY DIGITAL and DTS: Turn off the other sound field systems.
DOLBY PRO LOGIC: Press [rid PRO LOGIC].
(_ Remove the discs (or select an empty tray).
O Press [TEST] to output a test signal.
Lch: Front left (-16 dB to 0 dB)
Cch: Center (+6 dB to -10 dB)
Rch: Front right (-16 dB to 0 dB)
RSch: Right surround (+6 dB to -10 dB)
LSch: Left surround (+6 dB to -10 dB)
oThe surround channel for Dolby Pro Logic is monaural so the
indicator appears as "Sch" instead.
(_ Press [A] (to increase) or [_'] (to decrease).
To stop the test signal, press [TEST] again.
To adjust speaker level during play
1. Press [CH SELECT] to select the speaker.

SWch: Subwoofer (+ 10 dB to -10 dB)
Dolby Pro Logic
oThe surround channel is monaural so the indicator appears as
"Sch" instead.
o"SWch" does not appear.
2. Press [A] (to increase) or [_'] (to decrease).
Press [SFC] to select a setting.

When "MIX2ch" is flashing
The DVD-Audio disc you are playing contains multiple-channel sig-
nals that cannot be down-mixed ("NO DOWN-MIX" also appears).
Each time you press the button:
HEAVY:Adds punch to rock (factory preset).
CLEAR: Clarifies higher sounds.
SOFT: For background music.
DISCO: Reverberates sound to make you feel like you were in a disco.
LIVE: Makes vocals more alive.
HALL: Expands sound to make you feel like you were in a hall.
FLAT: Canceled (no effect is added).
