SENNHEISER EVOLUTION G2 (SECOND
GENERATION) UHF DIVERSITY RADIOMICROPHONES
A range of UHF diversity radio microphones offering excellent performance at a
reasonable price. All transmitters and receivers are metal-bodied for ruggedness and
feature diversity receivers with channel selection switching. They are available in five
frequency band ranges:
AA BB CC DD EE
518-550MHz 630-662MHz 740-772MHz 790-822MHz 838-870MHz
Range E models are held in stock; other versions are available to special order.
The following frequencies can be used without a license in the UK and some
European countries: 863.1, 863.5, 864.3 and 864.9MHz. These can be found in Bank
8 on all receivers. All other frequencies require a license.
The “G2” second-generation series have been improved physically and electronically,
with smaller body-pack transmitters and mobile receivers (82 x 64 x 24 mm excluding
antenna), broader switching bandwidth (36MHz) giving 1440 channels available
overall, an adjustable pilot-tone squelch system (which can be switched off for
compatibility with first generation sets) and audio companding for extended dynamic
range. Additional features include channel scan, new user-menu and large back-lit
displays.
