This sub-menu is not available on versions with no active ISDN interface.
Notes:
x ;-)#)?)=: NI-1 is used in North America, NTT is the protocol of the Japanese operator NTT,
and Euro ISDN (or ETSI) can be used in the majority of the other countries (see more details
on page 9, Network protocol).
x 9)?1=*+$>D"- and !$DO1''-"CC: these settings are irrelevant for the NI-1 protocol. Their
meaning and use is detailed further, page 61, in 4.5.1, Setting up a link in ISDN mode.
x !;45: this setting only applies to the NI-1 protocol, and is not presented for the other
protocols. See page 61, in 4.5.1, Setting up a link in ISDN mode, more about this setting.
x /)'"?* 6)'": selection of either the normal ´single codecµ mode or the ´Double codecµ
mode. In this latter case, it may be important to set a distinctive local number + sub-address
combination for each of the two first channels. This is detailed page 63, in 4.5.2, Setting up
links in double ISDN codec.
