A hyphen is added
to the right of the
morpheme to
indicate that it is a
prefix, then the
gloss (after the
label \ge) and the
part of speech
(after \rx) are
added.
Place the cursor
back on the word
to be
interlinearized on
the mot line, in the
text window.
Click on the
interlinear button
(or Alt/i)
The word is
segmented; the
rest of the word lla
can now be
entered into the
dictionary, and so
on…
Special characters in Toolbox
If you want to use for instance the apostrophe as part of a character, you have to declare
it as such in the Encoding Language devoted to the text (tx, mot) and morpheme (mb)
lines. In order to do that :
Project, Encoding languages,
Choose the language, then the Sort Order tab
then add e.g. the digraphs ts’ and q’ where you want them in the alphabetical order.
