1. Power lever .......................... IDLE
2. Propeller RPM........................ check below 1000 rpm
3. Fuel pumps .......................... check OFF
4. VOTER switch........................ check AUTO
5. Engine/gearbox oil temperature .......... check in the green range
6. Parking brake ........................ check set
7. ECU TEST button ..................... press and hold
Annunciations in the following sequence:
ECU A/B FAIL lights ................... ON
Propeller RPM........................ increase above 1900 rpm
Propeller RPM........................ decrease
Propeller RPM........................ increase to about 1900 rpm
Propeller RPM........................ decrease to idle
At this point, the test transfers from one ECU channel to the other.
Propeller RPM........................ increase above 1900 rpm
Propeller RPM........................ decrease
Propeller RPM........................ increase to about 1900 rpm
Propeller RPM........................ decrease to idle
At this point, control of the engine is returned to the initially active ECU channel. A slight
shake of the engine might occur.
ECU A/B FAIL lights ................... both OFF
Test sequence completed.
