4B.4.3 L/R ECU B FAIL
L/R ECU B FAIL
* Left / Right engine ECU B has failed
or
* is being tested during ECU test procedure before
take-off check.
(a) ECU B Caution on the Ground
- Terminate flight preparation.
(b) ECU B Caution During Flight
NOTE
In case of a failure in the electronic ECU (Engine Control
Unit) B the system automatically switches to ECU A.
1. ALTERNATE AIR ..................... OPEN
2. Fuel pumps LH/RH .................... ON
3. Circuit breakers....................... check / reset if necessary
4. VOTER switch........................ AUTO
5. If the ECU caution remains ............. land at the next suitable airfield
NOTE
An ECU FAIL CAUTION is caused by various types of
malfunctions. These include internal ECU problems, sensor
failures or insufficient performance of air-, fuel-, or electrical
supply system (e.g. air filter icing).
